Navigating FieldDoc
A walkthrough of the FieldDoc Interface via the Home Page
Introduction
When you log into FieldDoc, you arrive at your Home Page.
On the left side, you can navigate to different components of your Portfolio, access Tools, or explore Resources. From your account, select options to manage your account.
On the top panel, access Quick Link buttons to create new records.

FieldDoc's Interface is separated into distinct data levels and actions.
You can access some of FieldDoc's essential features straight from the Home page.
Portfolio
Your portfolio includes all your activities and related information. We have provided several components to help you better organize your activities.
Portfolio Component | Description |
---|---|
Projects | Highest level of organization for Activities within a Portfolio |
Sites | mid-level organizational component to assist in grouping Activities |
Activities | Core data component. |
Pacts | Contain all of the agreements your organization has with third-parties. Share a sub-set of your Activities to Opportunities, for instance as part of your application to a Funding Program. |
Metrics | Contains your organization-specific metrics (currently available in beta to all users)### |
Tools
Tool Component | Description |

Integrations | Link your FieldDoc-managed data to third-party software. Airtable and ArcGIS Online are current offerings (currently available in beta to all users) |
Workflows | Link your FieldDoc-managed data to third-party software. Airtable and ArcGIS Online are current offerings (currently available in beta to all users) |
Exports | Export your portfolio in .csv or .GeoJSON format. |

Resource Component | Description |

Activity Type | Review details of all Activity Types hosted by FieldDoc. |
Models | Access documentation for models connected to FieldDoc-hosted Activity Types. |
