General Settings Attributes
- The left-hand panel displays all of the information contained in the Settings tab. Let's look through it together.
- "General" lets you change the name and add a description of the activity record. This field is a text string.
- You can select and assign an activity type from the universal FieldDoc list of standard options within the Activity Type. The selected activity type will determine which, if any, modals are available to 'turn on' and associate with this activity record.
- NEIEN. For organizations with NEIEN reporting requirements, FieldDoc includes a data model structure that simplifies mapping to state reporting templates.
- Extent. FieldDoc calculates the extent of the activity footprint based on the geometry added to the activity record. If you need to override that estimated extent, please use the User-defined extent. You can also use the unit drop-down to convert the estimated extent to a different unit.
- Completion Status. When an activity is implemented to specification or the period of performance has concluded, we recommend using the Completion Status. This helps your organization track and confirm the status of the activity. When you mark an activity as completed you can choose the date, however, the system will log the user that marked the activity as complete and this cannot be changed.
- State Reporting. In order to track if a BMP has been reported, we have created this tracking component.
10. Once an activity has been completed, use the Inspection Logs to continue monitoring its functionality.
- You can link, create, or navigate to existing Pacts from within the modal.
- If desired, you can organize activities within a Project. Each activity can only be associated with a single project.
- Privacy settings allow the activity record owner to make the activity viewable dashboard maps or invisible.
