# Stormwater performance standard - Treatment depths other than 1 inch

Estimate nutrient and sediment load reductions using data and algorithms from the Chesapeake Bay Program's Expert Panel Report on Stormwater Retrofits.

## Qualifying conditions

Eligible runoff reduction practices are:

* [ ] landscape restoration/reforestation;
* [ ] riparian buffer restoration;
* [ ] rooftop disconnection (to amended soils; conservation area; or pervious area);
* [ ] sheetflow to filter/open space; non-structural BMPs (chapter 5 of 2006 Pennsylvania Stormwater BMP manual);
* [ ] all ESD practices in MD 2007;
* [ ] bioretention/rain garden;
* [ ] dry channel regenerative stormwater conveyance;
* [ ] dry swale;
* [ ] expanded tree pits;
* [ ] grass channels: with soil amendments; aka bioswales;
* [ ] green roofs; green streets;
* [ ] infiltrations practices: infiltration basin; infiltration bed; infiltration trench; dry well; landscape infiltration;
* [ ] permeable pavement;
* [ ] rainwater harvesting.

Eligible stormwater treatment practices are: constructed wetlands; filtering practices (e.g. constructed filters; sand filters; stormwater filtering systems); proprietary practices (manufactured BMPs); wet ponds; and wet swales.

2. **Select land river segment.** Click or draw on the map to select land river segments. Segments determine which load source categories and rates are available for this model

3. **Model inputs**. Calculation mode.

* Runoff reduction
* Stormwater treatment

{% hint style="info" %}
To help determine the load source acres draining to your activity, access the land use/land cover data for your county through [this web page](https://cicgis.org/portal/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=bdf7ca3e249a40fd9a9d83d6e16100ea\&extent=-88.252,35.0981,-62.3462,45.7489). Select your county from the map and download the "Land Use Land Cover 2017\_2018" dataset. After opening the file in a GIS application, use zonal statistics within your BMP drainage area to calculate the total load source acres for each category below.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.fielddoc.org/resources/models/stormwater-performance-standard-treatment-depths-other-than-1-inch.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
