Yes! If you follow a few conversion steps then you can use your existing .KML files into individual practice tiles in your FieldDoc project.

Step one: Convert KML to GeoJSON

First, you need to convert your .KML file to a GeoJSON file. There are online conversion tools that will generate these files for you. We have had success with THIS ONE. Please note that this system only allows you to convert three files before it raises a paywall. We are still looking for a free conversion tool to suggest.

Step two: Convert your GeoJSON to a Shapefile

Second, you can convert your newly created GeoJSON file to have all of the components required by FieldDoc. We recommend using MapShaper to edit your map data. The resulting export will include one geometry that can be uploaded and read by FieldDoc.
